Welcome to the Forster Hunting Lodge Pension!
The Forster Hunting Lodge Pension is located 18 km from Budapest, in Bugyi village. The picturesque building was built at the end of the 19th century and is surrounded by several hectares of parkland. Close to the town, but away from the noise, in a natural environment, our 29-room Pension with a total of 10 rooms and 3-star service awaits our guests. The rooms are tastefully furnished and air-conditioned. In 2021, the Pension underwent a complete renovation and expansion, so all our rooms are equipped with new furniture and a renewed, modern design.
The landscape was formed by the Danube and its ancient branch, which was drained in the 1920s, and has resulted in different types of soil. The surface has thus become a variegated mix of quicksand and sand, peat and loess. The rest of the municipality is protected because of its natural treasures, such as the cherry blossom.
Our tavern, which has an excellent reputation, is located just a few metres from the Pension. We are waiting for our guests every day of the week, with traditional Hungarian flavours, unique delicacies, “A la carte” menu, daily menu and even half board.
We organize and manage all kinds of wedding events all year round. The Separate Room of our Hunting Lodge and our Pension are in perfect harmony with the surrounding nature, and the interior design is a balance and interweaving of folk motifs and modern elements. We recommend our Separate Room for smaller weddings, family events, etc., it is also air-conditioned. We provide our services not only in the castle but also outside.

ATM cash withdrawals
There are 2 ATM machines in Bugyi, which can be found in the centre, at Templom utca 8. and Teleki utca 104.
Baby cot
Please call Reception if you need a baby cot, which will be provided free of charge.
Bible
In each room you will find a copy of the Bible, New Testament, in Hungarian, English and German.
Suitcase rack
A suitcase rack is available at the Reception and will be provided free of charge for the duration of your stay, subject to availability.

Please ask for our 24-hour secure luggage storage service at Reception, which is provided for our arriving and departing guests.
Smoking facilities
Smoking is prohibited in the enclosed areas of the guest house (including the rooms), in the common areas and in the hotel park, except in designated smoking areas, and the use of electric cigarettes is prohibited. There is a designated smoking area at the entrance of the pension.
In case of non-compliance, the hotel is entitled to charge a fee of EUR 100 to the offending guest.

We accept: Cash (HUF), credit cards (Mastercard, Visa) and SZÉP (Széchenyi Pihenő Kártya) cards (all pockets accepted).

You can choose from several companies such as MPL, DHL, FEDEX, UPS. Please contact the Reception for assistance.
Heating
All rooms are heated by a central heating system. You can adjust the temperature in your room with the switch on the wall and in the bathroom with the thermostat of the radiator in the bathroom.
Pharmacy
The nearest pharmacy is on the corner of Kossuth Lajos Street and Beleznay Square. The reception will be happy to inform you about the services and opening hours of the pharmacy. Bugyi, Beleznay tér 3.
Hair dryer
All bathrooms have a hairdryer.

Wireless internet in the rooms and in the common areas.
Parking in front of the hotel for 22 cars and in the immediate vicinity for about 50 cars, with parking for buses.
Internet connection

Photocopying is available at the Reception, where our staff will be happy to assist you.
Check-out
Please leave the rooms by 10:00 on the day of your journey at the latest. Check-out time can be extended until 14:00 for 50% of the room rate. If you check out later than 14:00, you will be charged 100% of the next night’s stay. For early or late check-outs, please contact Reception.

Air conditioning
Pension Forster Hunting Lodge is equipped with central air conditioning, which can be controlled by a switch on the wall of your room. As an environmentally friendly accommodation, please note that the air conditioning only works when the doors and windows are closed.
Maxibar
A maxibar is located in the reception area of the Pension, where you can buy drinks.
Parking
Parking is free of charge for our guests. Our parking lot is not guarded.
Reception
You can reach us personally from 07:00 to 19:00, between 19:00 and 07:00 you can reach us at the reception of the Hotel.
Breakfast
Breakfast is served in the Forster Hunting Lodge. Every day from 7:00 to 10:00.
Safe
Please do not leave money, credit cards, jewellery, documents, laptops, cameras or anything else of value unattended in your room. Always keep your valuables in the safe in your room. The instructions for using the safe are on the safe.
Room cleaning
Rooms are cleaned every day between 8:00 and 14:00. Towels are changed every day if they are placed on the floor. Bathroom fixtures are replenished every day.
Taxi service
The Forster Hunting Lodge Pension cooperates with a local taxi company, which has foreign language speaking drivers at your disposal for any transfers.

TV and radio channels

Emergency in case of fire
Our guesthouse is equipped with fire protection system, please see the information on the door of your room. In case of fire or other emergency, please call Reception and give the location of the incident to the receptionist. Guests are warned by the general fire alarm sign. Please be advised that periodic, pre-announced fire drills will be held. The management hereby assures guests that all precautionary measures will be taken to ensure your safety in cooperation with the local authorities.
