Forster Castle

A place to come home to!

Just 20 km from Budapest, in the village of Bugyi, you will find the Forster Hunting Lodge, built at the end of the 19th century, surrounded by a picturesque park of several hectares. Close to the city, but far from the noise, in a natural environment, with traditional Hungarian flavours, unique gastronomic, wedding and conference programme opportunities, special attractions and a two-building, 3-star Hotel and Pension await our guests who wish to relax and unwind. We organise and host weddings, family and corporate events all year round in our custom-built, air-conditioned and underfloor-heated event hall designed by Makovecz Studio. Our event halls, Hotel and Pension are in perfect harmony with the nature surrounding us, in the interior design we meet the balance and interweaving of the elements of the old and modern times. We provide our services not only in the Castle, but also in external locations.

I spent one night here for a company event. Beautiful surroundings, very good food, very nice staff😍 There is a hotel and a guesthouse part, huge event hall, perfect place for weddings. There is also a beautiful pond, huge courtyard with animals in a fenced part. Our room was nice and clean and warm. It's worth a visit, also because the wellness area is being built.

Very nice service, delicious food in the tavern, nice rooms, and already in February there was a parrot, a pony and a donkey in the yard to see. It's also a perfect wedding venue.
